Cybersecurity: We Never Had Time

Let Us Talk Security

Cybersecurity professionals…When we began, we were already in the negative…

Let’s talk Security

We loss credit from the first major breach and continue to embolden the attackers and created new industries for enablers and quick fixers.

What have we learned? … Nothing
What can we do? …..

Here is a suggestion, that fancy contingency plan you thought was o-so smart… re-do it.

If you think you have 6 months, you only have 3. If you think you have 2 weeks, you only have 1. And make everyone aware from sales to the SOC.

Because while you ignore the cook the phishing attacker already spoke to her!

Lastly, stop giving interns hacker application guides that were published over a decade ago. Instead of allowing them to be eaten by dust mites, why don’t you place that book under the leg of the table in your conference room so at least something will be balanced. You can let them study your playbooks and omg if you don’t have them up-to-date, let that be a project for them so you can continue on your mission.

But you don’t need to hear my “letter from a Birmingham Jail” (channeling my inner MLK) because you know traditional operations can’t continue as they are. So let’s put on that heavy armor and defend future innovations that only the world wide web can provide and only you can protect. (I decided that all hope is not loss:-)

Thanks for Reading!
